Food Technology
Are you interested in food?
Do you want to learn more about food preparation and issues surrounding food in our society?
Senior Food Technology lends itself well to studies in nutrition, food retail, sport science and child care.
It also helps you to become a wise consumer and a competent home cook.
Practical activities allow you to put into practise the concepts covered in the course.
You do not need to have studied Food Technology in previous years to select this course.

Industrial Technology - Timber
The study of Industrial Technology Timber provides students with opportunities to engage in a range of creative and practical experiences using a variety of tools, machines and techniques.
The majority of class time will be spent on project work and an industry study that will develop a broad range of skills. This will ultimately lead to the student developing a Major Project/Folio of their choice for the HSC.
Throughout the course students develop knowledge in WHS and apply risk management practices, develop skills in designing and choose materials based on their properties and application.
Finally, this is a great subject if you are looking to transition into any of the Trade industries when you leave school as the skills and practical experiences you participate in are transferable across any industry.
Textiles & Design
Are you interested in interior design or fashion design?
Perhaps your passion lies with costume and the theatre arts, or the textile arts?
Textiles and Design develops a body of knowledge and skills that can provide opportunities for small business and leisure activities useful throughout life. It develops creativity and project management skills. You will develop an understanding that textiles in industry, small business and in leisure activities has an emphasis on project work and you will use this through the designing, planning and manufacturing of both Preliminary and a Major Textiles Project.
